Templates
Templates control a page’s overall structure. Patterns give you ready-made sections to start from.
Page templates
Choose a template in the page settings sidebar under Template:
- Default — header, breadcrumbs and your content inside a container.
- Full Width Page — content runs edge to edge, so Sections span the screen.
- Home Page and Home Page Full Width — layouts for the front page.
- Blank — content only, with no header or footer.
- 404 — for a custom “page not found” page.
For pages built from Zen Builder Sections, use a full-width template.
Header, footer and templates
- Go to
Appearance → Editor. - Open Patterns → Template Parts to edit the header or footer, or Templates to edit a template.
- Make your changes and click Save. Use Reset to return to the theme’s original version.
Patterns
The theme includes section patterns you can insert from the Patterns tab of the block inserter: hero banners, calls to action, header bars, icon columns, image galleries, text-and-image layouts, testimonials, pricing tables, FAQs and a trust strip. See them all on the Patterns page.
Starter sites
Starter site templates are coming soon. They will appear on the Templates page as they are released, and this guide will explain how to import them. Until then, start from the section patterns.
