Installing Zen Builder

Install the Zen Builder theme, child theme and plugin from your WordPress dashboard, then activate your licence to receive updates.

Requirements

• WordPress 6.1 or later (block themes and Full Site Editing).
• PHP 7.4 or later.
• A Zen Builder product key from your account.

Install the theme

1. Download the Zen Builder theme, child theme and plugin zip files from your account.
2. In WordPress, go to Appearance → Themes → Add New Theme and click Upload Theme.
3. Upload and install the Zen Builder theme first, then the child theme.
4. Activate the child theme. The parent theme must stay installed.

Install the plugin

1. Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin and click Upload Plugin.
2. Upload the Zen Builder plugin zip, click Install Now, then Activate.
3. The Zen Builder blocks now appear in the block inserter.

Activate your licence

1. Go to Zen Builder → License.
2. Paste your key into Product Key and click Activate.
3. A confirmation message shows the licence status and expiry date.

Zen Builder → License → Product Key → Activate

Updates

With an active licence, theme and plugin updates appear in Dashboard → Updates like any other theme or plugin. Your child theme is never replaced by an update.
